How a wrong page gets fixed.
We edit confirmed errors and move the modified date. We will not invent an unpublished error code to close a gap.
How to report it
Use the contact page. Include the page address, the sentence, and why it looks unsafe or inaccurate. A photo of a model tag or a display message helps when the issue is a code we published.
What we do with a report
We read it. If the page is wrong, we edit it and the modified date changes. If the issue is safety-related, we look for the same wording on related guides.
What we will not “correct”
We will not add an unpublished error-code meaning or a model number to make a page feel complete. A missing code is a gap, not a prompt to invent one.
Dates on the page
Published and updated dates are there so you can see whether a guide has moved since you last read it. They are not a claim that every Whirlpool control in the field was re-tested that morning.
