About this appliance.
Gas cooktops want a clean cap, a dry igniter, and a valve that opens. Radiant glass cooktops want an intact element and limiter under the ceramic. Induction wants a magnetic pan of the right diameter, centered on the ring.
A single cold zone with neighbors working is usually local. Every zone dead is supply, a main board, or a lockout after a spill. Cracked glass is not a cosmetic issue; it is a reason to stop cooking on that surface.
Have the pan that “does not work” available when we visit an induction cooktop. The cookware is part of the test.

Safety first Do not cook on cracked ceramic. Wipe spills before they dry onto touch controls, but never flood the glass to “reset” it. Gas smell means off and vent.

A magnet should stick firmly to the bottom. Aluminum and many stainless pans will not. Size still has to match the ring.
It can be a spill film or a failing board. If the glass is intact and there is no burning smell, stop using that zone and dry the surface. Persistent flicker needs testing.
Yes, the removable caps and grates, as the manual describes. Do not drill or enlarge ports. If it still will not light when dry and seated, stop clicking it.
